ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is looking for an energetic, experienced, organised and detail-orientated books editor to form a core part of the fiction commissioning team at Audible UK. In this role you will manage authors directly, overseeing the whole editorial process for existing projects as well as developing relationships with existing Audible authors and commissioning future authors and projects in genres such as commercial crime, romance and fantasy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the submissions process for Audible UK in the book space, making recommendations to the Director, Scripted Drama & Original Books and wider team for potential acquisitions. You will have experience in editing commercial fiction, and in particular be able to talk to a track record of structurally editing manuscripts. You will bring existing contacts in the agenting world, be a passionate ambassador for great audio storytelling, and have a finger on the pulse in the wider entertainment landscape.

This role is initially open through a 18 month contract and is based in London.
