ABOUT THE ROLE
Audible is seeking a strategic, analytical and highly motivated media lead to drive media strategy and implementation in Brazil across Brand and Content campaigns. You have a strong track record of driving brand fame through creative media strategies across all awareness channels included but not limited to TV, Radio, Out of Home, Digital channels such as OLV, display, social, streaming Audio and Local Influencers with a firm understanding of the relationships and processes required to deliver best in class media proposals.

You will be focused on ROI and have the ability to interpret data sets, test results and MMM outputs to evolve media strategy with a focus on efficiency. You will implement testing frameworks in close collaboration with our internal analytics team which will assist in crafting the awareness media investment narrative for Brazil

The Director of Awareness Media, Brazil will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive consideration, and fuel audience acquisition across key consumer segments. In this role, you will work closely with our media agency, cross-functional teams in Brazil and globally, serving as the local media expert-bridging local insights with global best practices.

As a Director, Awareness Media, Brazil, you will...
- Own annual and quarterly paid media strategy for brand awareness and consideration in Brazil
- Translate global brand objectives into locally relevant and culturally resonant media campaigns
- Align paid media with broader marketing calendar and cross-functional plans (Brand & Content Marketing, Organic Social, PR, Partnerships, etc.)
- Lead media briefing, channel planning, and activation across TV, online video, media partnerships, cinema, audio, out-of-home, display, paid social, and influencer channels
- Ensure full-funnel integration and test-and-learn approaches to optimize reach, frequency and media efficiency partnering closely with the performance media team
- Partner with Business Insights team to define KPIs, attribution models, and brand lift studies
- Use data to optimize campaigns and inform future strategies
- Be a trusted media lead within the Audible Brazil team, representing paid media in key meetings
- Collaborate closely with Brand & Content Marketing, Performance Media, Creative and Business Insights, and Global Awareness Media teams

Basic Qualifications

- 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience managing multi-channel paid media marketing
- Experience with the Brazilian media landscape, consume behaviors, and cultural nuances
- Experience building and optimizing upper-funnel media strategies that drive brand awareness and audience growth
- Experience in media analytics, measurement tools, and brand lift methodologies
- Experience leading integrated campaigns across video, audio, digital, OOH, social and influencer
- Experience managing complex budgets and agency and vendor relationships with rigor and transparency
- Fluent in Portuguese and English

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in entertainment or subscription services at a major brand, agency, or media platform
- Experience working at a Media Agency
- Experience working on subscription revenue business models

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
