ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Creative Director of Brand at Audible, you will be a critical part of our creative team and overall business. Your role is to define and lead the creative expression of the Audible brand across every channel, campaign, and touchpoint. You will ensure that our brand is not only consistent and recognizable, but also bold, fresh, and culturally resonant. The brand is the heartbeat of our creative work, and it’s your mission to bring it to life in ways that inspire, connect, and differentiate Audible in the global marketplace. Your leadership will be seen in the mentoring of teams, the partnership with agencies, and in your own direct creative contributions.

You will be responsible for creative sign-off on all brand work, requiring bold, confident, and detail-oriented decision-making.

As a Creative Director, Brand, you will...
- Lead the creative vision for Audible’s brand identity, ensuring consistency and excellence across all global campaigns and touchpoints
- Oversee the development of brand guidelines, toolkits, and systems to ensure creative cohesion across channels and markets
- Directly contribute to the creation of high-impact brand campaigns, activations, and initiatives that build awareness and affinity
- Partner with marketing, strategy, design, product, and content teams to ensure brand expression is unified and strategic
- Guide external agency partners and internal teams in executing brand work at the highest level of craft
- Integrate cultural insights, audience research, and performance data into brand creative strategies
- Evolve and refresh the brand’s look, feel, and voice as needed to stay relevant and resonant in a fast-changing cultural landscape
- Inspire, mentor, and lead designers, writers, and art directors to deliver exceptional brand storytelling
- Own the creative process for flagship campaigns, global launches, and evergreen brand content

Basic Qualifications

- 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience
- Experience in brand-focused creative direction at an agency, in-house brand, or global creative team.
- Experience building and evolving brand identities for globally recognized companies
- Experience demonstrating excellence in brand campaigns, visual identity systems, and cross-channel creative execution
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and familiarity with motion, digital, and emerging creative tools

Preferred Qualifications

- Portfolio of work that demonstrates a mix of big brand ideas, storytelling, and campaign systems
- Deep understanding of the evolving digital and social media landscape
- Experience working on entertainment, lifestyle, or consumer tech brands
- Experience with experiential, OOH, and integrated campaign work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
