ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Designer at Audible, you will be a vital member of our creative team. Your role is to bring the Audible brand to life visually across campaigns, content, and product experiences. You will translate strategy and ideas into design work that is smart, compelling, and beautifully crafted—ensuring consistency while pushing the brand into fresh, innovative spaces. You will collaborate closely with writers, art directors, motion designers, and cross-functional partners to deliver creative that connects with audiences worldwide. Reporting into the Senior Director of Design, you will help uphold and evolve Audible’s design standards across every channel and format.

ABOUT YOU
You are a highly skilled designer with a passion for brand storytelling and visual craft. You have a keen eye for typography, layout, color, and composition, and you know how to adapt design systems for a variety of channels and audiences. You are proactive and collaborative, able to take feedback and iterate quickly while still bringing your own creative perspective to the work. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can balance big conceptual thinking with meticulous attention to detail. You are eager to contribute to a culture of design excellence at Audible and push the brand to new creative heights.

As a Senior Designer, you will...
- Design a wide range of creative assets across digital, social, print, OOH, experiential, and product environments
- Contribute to the evolution of Audible’s visual identity, ensuring consistency while adapting for platform and audience needs
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Design and broader creative team to concept and execute campaigns
- Translate strategic insights and creative direction into high-quality, finished design work
- Partner with copywriters, motion designers, and cross-functional partners to develop integrated creative
- Maintain expert-level craft in typography, layout, color, and composition across all outputs
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and cultural shifts, applying them thoughtfully to Audible’s brand
- Uphold and champion accessibility and inclusivity in all design work
- Deliver work on time, on brief, and at the highest standard of quality

Basic Qualifications

- 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience
- 7+ years of professional design experience, ideally within a creative agency, in-house brand, or media company
- Experience showcasing excellence in brand, campaign, and design system work across multiple formats
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with familiarity in motion and emerging design tools
- Experience typography, layout, and visual storytelling

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with motion design principles and production workflows
- Experience evolving digital and social media landscape
- Experience working on entertainment, lifestyle, or consumer tech brands
- Experience working on global brands
- Experience exploring new tools, processes, and emerging design technologies including AI-powered design

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
