ABOUT THE ROLE
The Brand Activations & Sponsorships team sits within the Brand and Content Marketing organization and executes experiential marketing programs (including events, digital campaigns, social media, PR, & paid media) that promote Audible’s premiere titles as well as the brand. The team executes thoughtful activations, panels, and performances that focus on Audible content at large scale events like SXSW, Sundance, Comic Con and more.

The Brand Activations & Sponsorships team is seeking a dynamic, high performing professional who will pioneer project management across the team’s projects and events. This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the team as they evaluate, develop and execute key events and activations that serve to increase Audible awareness among creators and listeners, and launch new titles. The team executes many large scale experiential programs each year and the role will touch all programs, connecting the dots across a multitude of different but inter-connected areas within the Brand Activations + Sponsorships team and their larger org. This role will also own execution of their own projects/activations.

You are a skilled project manager who can handle multiple projects at the same time. You are extremely detail oriented and find pleasure in running the show. You are a master juggler, momentum builder, facilitator, diplomat and project champion. You enjoy working in a close team environment who collaborate, discuss, and tag team projects on a daily basis. You are a fast learner and take direction well. You are comfortable with evaluating priorities and facilitating communication to meet changing deadlines. You love being onsite at events! Socializing, mingling, and working with a tight-knit team who enjoys executing!

As an Manager, Brand Activations/Events, you will...
- Manage and update internal trackers and documents and proactively share updates with the team
- Manage all billing and budgeting for projects: expense tracking, SOWs, sponsorship contracts, POs, invoices, P+L
- Work very closely with Civic for kick off, briefing, budgets, schedules, deliverables, and have a deep understanding of how their workflow and timeline fits into the team’s processes
- Work with cross-functional teams internal as well as external to ensure positioning, messaging, goals, deliverables, and tactics are achieved before, during, and after each respective event
- Update and manage the annual calendar of brand events and sponsorships
- Monitor marketplace and industry trends and present monthly activation recap findings to the team

Basic Qualifications

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, business or equivalent
- Travel up to 5-20% of the time regularly throughout the assigned region and internationally
- Experience in Events, Brand Activations or similar function

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or process improvement roles
- MBA, or Master's degree
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
