ABOUT THE ROLE
The Brand Activations & Sponsorships team sits within the Brand and Content Marketing organization and executes experiential marketing programs (including events, digital campaigns, social media, PR, & paid media) that promote Audible’s premiere titles as well as the brand. The team executes thoughtful activations, panels, and performances that focus on Audible content at large scale events like SXSW, Sundance, Comic Con and more.
This role will be responsible for evaluating, developing and executing key Brand events and activations that serve to increase brand and category awareness among prospects and listeners, raise our profile amongst content creators and technologists and help to launch new titles. This role will independently drive end-to-end event execution, from strategic planning through post-event analysis, while managing cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver high-impact brand experiences.

As a Director, Brand Activations, you will...
- Evaluate, recommend, and drive integrated event strategies for all company-sponsored and hosted events aligned to business objectives
- Develop measurement frameworks, track KPIs, and socialize insights across the organization to inform future programming and demonstrate ROI
- Drive process improvements and implement operational excellence best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to align on positioning, messaging, goals, deliverables, and tactics throughout the event lifecycle
- Lead end-to-end execution of event sponsorships and activations from conception through post-event analysis and reporting

Basic Qualifications
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- 7+ years of event marketing or brand, program, or experiential marketing experience
- Experience managing external agencies
- Travel up to 5-20% of the time regularly throughout the assigned region and internationally
- Experience producing brand activations at large-scale festivals and conferences (e.g., SXSW, Comic-Con, Sundance, Web Summit, Cannes Lions)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- 7+ years of event marketing or brand, program, or experiential marketing experience
- Experience managing external agencies
- Travel up to 5-20% of the time regularly throughout the assigned region and internationally
- Experience producing brand activations at large-scale festivals and conferences (e.g., SXSW, Comic-Con, Sundance, Web Summit, Cannes Lions)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
