As a UX Writer on the Product Writing team, you'll be customer-obsessed, shaping content strategies that deeply resonate with our listeners' needs and curiosities. As a UX Writer, you will…
- Execute on content strategies that support user needs and business goals across multiple channels and platforms
- Incorporate user research and insights into content strategies, ensuring content resonates with diverse listener groups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, product marketers, designers, developers, and subject matter experts, to scale and align content strategies with overall product and business needs
- Contribute to and scale existing content style guides, patterns, standards, and best practices, ensuring consistency and adherence to Audible's voice and tone guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in content strategy, AI/LLMs, content design, and user experience design
- Provide guidance to peers within the Product and UX org via office hours, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or a related field, with a portfolio demonstrating successful content design development and execution
- Understanding of user experience principles and content strategy best practices
- Experience with user research methodologies
- Understanding of user experience principles and content strategy best practices
- Experience with user research methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
- Understanding of the audiobook, entertainment or digital media industries
- Proficiency in languages other than English (based on Audible's global presence)
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
