ABOUT THIS ROLE
As an HR Partner, you'll serve as a professional who earns trust throughout the organization while demonstrating action-oriented, flexible problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. In this role, you will collaborate with HR Business Partners to implement and deploy strategic HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, exceptional internal customer service, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.

Success in this position requires a versatile skill set - the ability to connect strategic objectives with tactical execution while collaborating effectively across diverse teams, organizational levels, and situations. The role serves as a frontline partner to people managers to create a positive underlying experience, offering consistent HR advice on people matters. HR Partners are subject matter experts, having sound knowledge in programs, processes and policies, offering a strong and compelling point of view around HR related matters, thus building credibility. Based in Newark, this role will focus primarily on the global teams across Marketing, Creative, Brand and Finance.

As a Human Resources Partner, you will...
- Work with people managers end to end on performance management and support employee relations investigations, provide expert guidance and support to managers who have identified low performance, ensure employees are managed fairly and effectively
- Function as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to internal customers on HR-related matters
- Enhance the employee experience by collaborating effectively with managers, employees, and core teams to deliver exceptional service on HR tools, policy, etc.
- Coordinate with Center of Excellence to improve HR process, and serves as the major POC of process implementation, as well as partner with HRBPs on the automation of processes where possible
- Support the Talent Management processes through partnership with the HRBPs in the organization (including talent reviews, promotions, and role changes), developing toolkits and communications that help managers to be self-sufficient with talent practices
- Support HRBPs with collection and analysis of the org health and employee engagement data (exit interviews, engagement discussions, performance and ER data)
- Partner closely with our global HRBP and Employee Relations team to bring consistency to HR processes across Audible
- Act as a change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- 3+ years of experience in working in a corporate environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Thrives in a high-pressure environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities
- Experience with working in a rapid and complex changing environment driven by continuous innovation
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits and sensitive HR matters

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
