ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Director, Global Product Marketing to help further grow and accelerate our unique offering and content, globally. As Director, Global Product Marketing, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape and conduct the future of Audible’s consumer and creator products by translating customer needs into customer-centric strategies that inform technology, content, and marketing investment that surprise and delight audiences across the globe. You’ll contribute to defining our go-to-market strategy, with an eye on expanding Audible’s value proposition, member base, and lifetime value across end consumers and creative stakeholders.

As a Director, Global Product Marketing, you will…
- Define and deeply understand Audible’s target audiences and champion their needs throughout the organization
- Craft product stories to existing and prospective customers in an increasingly exciting category by creating clear and consistent propositions articulated through effective messaging
- Drive and orchestrate the go-to-market strategies and oversee implementation for select, high-impact product and feature launches, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Country Managers, and Growth Marketers
- Collaborate with the Content team to ensure we have go-to-market plans that holistically incorporate content and product to strengthen our value proposition for the right consumer cohorts
- Continuously improve the value of membership and our creator products by partnering with Product, Content and Country Leadership on new core features, benefits, and CX enhancements that will delight and engage current and future customers
- Work in lockstep with our research team to uncover key customer insights and validate hypotheses
- Drive business case development, bringing together customer insights, research, financial data and analytics to develop a perspective on revenue and profitability potential for new to market initiatives
- Communicate business plans and marketing strategy to senior leadership
- Partner Marketing teams to deploy GTM plans, and guide cohesive messaging strategy across different marketing channels
- Partner with Communications team to craft our external story and press approach around product evolution
- Partner with Finance, Analytics, and Data Science to define, measure and report on success and opportunity areas

Basic Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, Engineering or related field
- Experience in product marketing and business strategy, with experience in defining and driving new customer-centric products and features toward market launch rollout

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- MBA, or Master's degree
- Experience collaborating and influencing multiple teams across multiple organizations
- Experience understanding of insights development, messaging strategy, customer experience and persuasive marketing techniques in driving engagement with new or existing features or benefits
- Experience in membership-based business models
- Experience with creator-driven businesses
- Experience in digital content and/or media companies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
