Audible is looking for an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented executive with entertainment and development experience to form a core part of the North American Originals content team at Audible. As Creative Coordinator, you will manage cross-organizational responsibilities on the creative development team, including team communications, and team meeting agendas, and team events. You will manage the full pipeline of submissions from agents, production companies, and publishers, evaluating projects for their potential to become standout Audible Originals, and bringing in the right internal creative executive to evaluate. You will also serve as a creative executive on select projects, guiding projects from concept through production and being an integral part of the team that shapes Audible's Originals slate. You will be expected to scout and identify emerging writers, authors, and audio creators, and building the relationships that bring fresh voices to Audible's audience. This is a broad, exciting, and challenging role key to the smooth operation of Audible's creative strategy.
As a Coordinator, Creative Development you will..
- Track and evaluate all incoming submissions for audiobooks, podcasts, and possible acquisitions
- Own the entirety of the Greenlight and Approvals process from concept to production, enabling new and current series to get cross-functional feedback and approval
- Facilitate each meeting and ensure all departments have submitted their feedback
- Provide an overview to leadership on what projects were approved
- Own organizational wide initiatives and communications for the Creative Development and Studios Team
- Support Studios team with projects in production as needed
- Work closely with agents, production companies, and internal Amazon teams on potential partnerships with authors and creators
- Scout up-and-coming talent and develop pitch ideas for key talent and partners; coordinate all potential talent and partnership meetings
- Identify gaps in Audible's content slate and analyze marketplace trends to influence development and decision-making on Originals
- Work as a Creative Producer on Fiction projects in production and development for Audible Originals
- Give detailed feedback on first draft of scripts, manuscripts, and all rounds of audio cuts. Collaborate with authors, talent and editors to implement the necessary changes
- Work with Audible Studios to manage budgets once a Fiction project is Greenlight and Business Affairs on deal terms on deliverables
- Provide notes, script editing, feedback on audio cuts, and other development/production support for all third-party production partners to build each show's distinct identity and deliver on its success
- Curate and manage talent invitations for industry events, bringing a strategic POV on which creators and partners to engage at each event and owning all associated outreach and logistics
- Ensure timely and appropriate responses to third-party submissions/inquiries/contributors
- Ensure that all projects in development and production are delivered and published within business-critical timelines, agreed budgets, and to the highest standards

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a development assistant, coordinator or junior creative executive in film, television, or audio.
- Experience in Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, AirTable, and similar tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to work independently, proactively and meet deadlines
- Passionate about audio, with a deep understanding and interest in trends in media, entertainment, and within key genres like romance, action-adventure, sci-fi, mystery, thriller, and wellbeing.
- Dedicated team player who works collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
- Previous experience in the audio entertainment space, managing or acquiring audio rights

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
