ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Head of Brand Media for EU5 role requires setting the media strategy for Audible's EU5 region to drive awareness and consideration of Audible and its content across Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain. This leadership position demands exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed cross-border structure. The role involves fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture, coaching and developing a team of media experts, and driving agency relationships to deliver best-in-class media strategy and execution.
ABOUT YOU
You demonstrate a strong track record of driving brand awareness through creative media strategies across all channels, including TV, Radio, Out of Home, Digital (OLV, display), Social, Streaming Audio, and Local Influencers. You possess a firm understanding of relationships and processes required to deliver best-in-class media proposals. With a focus on ROI, you excel at interpreting data sets, test results, and MMM outputs to evolve media strategy efficiently. You implement testing frameworks to craft the awareness media investment narrative for the EU5 region. You're a proactive leader who can deliver transformative changes in our brand media strategy, collaborating with and inspiring internal teams and external agencies to think boldly, challenge conventions, and drive Audible's growth in Europe.
As a Head of Brand Media Europe, you will...
- Develop comprehensive understanding of media landscape and buying dynamics across EU5 marketplaces
- Monitor media consumption trends and competitive analysis, leading quarterly competitive media sessions per marketplace
- Drive the agency relationship in EU5, ensuring delivery of agreed rates and efficiencies; provide constructive feedback on agency team performance
- Manage strategy and implementation across all awareness media channels
- Lead quarterly and annual media briefings to establish budget and channel strategy based on insights
- Orchestrate media campaign briefings, incorporating input from creative, performance, and relevant teams
- Collaborate with performance teams to ensure full-funnel media thinking and holistic planning
- Partner with Head of Brand and Content Marketing Europe to align on brand/content KPIs and share creative performance insights
- Develop expertise in local influencer landscape, crafting strategies to establish brand presence in culture
- Cultivate key media partnerships to optimize spend efficiency and measure performance against KPIs
- Drive owned media partnerships (Twitch, ADSP, Amazon Prime, etc.)
- Optimize investment strategy through tracking tools, awareness data, incrementality tests, and attribution modeling
- Ensure achievement of global targets across awareness, consideration, ALs, aSAC, iE%CCP, and Marketing as % of Revenue
- Work closely with Analytics team to establish measurement frameworks and develop incrementality testing
- Coordinate with Global Media Center on Media agency SOW and team structure
- Lead and develop the EU5 awareness media team
- Drive innovation in awareness media through breakthrough, non-traditional campaigns

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Math or a related field of study
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Experience managing a large budget with accountability for ROI
- Experience in managing media agencies
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
