ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Accounts Payable Manager is a global team-oriented role that is responsible for managing, maintaining and improving global standardization of the Accounts Payable department. You will work closely alongside other AP Managers to drive change, processing efficiencies and maintain global standardization across all legal entities. Daily responsibilities include managing the timely processing of supplier invoices and employee expense reports by Amazon Shared Services. Managing corporate card accounts globally, creating ad-hoc reports, account reconciliation, processing monthly accruals, processing payment runs, managing multiple AP mailboxes, working with vendors regarding vendor set up or banking issues and calculating and correctly recording taxes. In addition to daily responsibilities, you will manage multiple projects, have strong ability to adapt to change, able to work independently have strong problem-solving skills and establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external contacts.

- Monitor the global processing of a high volume of AP invoices and expense reports by Amazon Shared Services
- Manage ad hoc projects
- Drive processing efficiencies
- Manage corporate card programs, monthly reporting, account recs and accruals
- Manage multiple AP mailboxes to ensure timely response and resolution regarding payment inquires, processing issues and other requests

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Written and verbal communication experience
- Experience using Excel

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Workday
- Experience with international accounts payable
- Business fluency in German language a plus
- Takes ownership and accountability of daily workload
- Team player attitude, enjoys collaboration and is self-motivated

- Comprehend the sense of urgency regarding critical vendors and payments
- Ability to work closely with the team
