ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is looking for a Production Manager, Originals (India) to manage the end-to-end creation of commissioned India-origin Original titles with Literary, Entertainment and Licensed Original creators. This role will support the development and on-time release of dynamic listening experiences for Audible audiences in India. This role will report to and work under the direction of the Director, Originals, APAC, and work in collaboration with a range of internal and external teams across Audible. The role will be based in in our Mumbai office.
ABOUT YOU
You are on the pulse of cultural zeitgeist and have the right mix of creative passion and production management skill to deliver titles that surprise and delight listeners. You have extensive experience as a Production Manager or Producer, ideally specializing in audio production, and ideally will have managed the day-to-day processes that resulted in the making of one or more high profile original book or series (podcast, radio, television) in scripted and/or non-fiction genres. You demonstrate a desire to raise standards at all times and deliver to the defined parameters and goals of a project/production. You have existing relationships with creators in the literary and entertainment space plus have solid experience of working with creators and talent, influencing successful delivery of their titles. Your knowledge and expertise enable you to provide sound process guidance and support throughout the making of these titles.
As the Production Manager, Originals you will...
- Manage the day-to-day development, production, post production and delivery milestones to ensure each title is delivered on-time, on-budget and in line with the project parameters defined by Director, Originals, APAC
- Maintain strong relationships with established local creators, talent, authors, producers, writers and production partners
- Collaborate with Brand & Content marketing, providing content-led production updates that support title launch
- Work with internal and external stakeholders in support of localisation efforts
- Provide ad-hoc creative feedback and Special Projects support as guided by Director, Originals, APAC

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or relevant professional experience
- Experience in scripted/non-scripted production management, and ability to apply this in the audio-entertainment space
- Experience with development, pre-production, production, post-production processes of a title, as well as experience with talent and partner management support. Audio experience, in both regards, is advantage
- A network of relationships in terms of writers, agents, producers, 3P studios, directors, etc
- Experience in scripted/non-scripted production management, and ability to apply this in the audio-entertainment space
- Experience with development, pre-production, production, post-production processes of a title, as well as experience with talent and partner management support. Audio experience, in both regards, is advantage
- A network of relationships in terms of writers, agents, producers, 3P studios, directors, etc
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work effectively with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent editorial skills, with experience in publishing and/or working with authors in the creation of new titles
- Knowledge across and passion for a range of content genres and formats
