ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for an enthusiastic Working Student (Werkstudent) Content (m/f/x) for 20 hours per week. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience in the audiobook industry, as well as to connect with the publishing industry; you will be the interface between Audible and the main publishing houses in Germany, supporting us in identifying the right content for our original productions.
ABOUT YOU
As a Working Student - Publisher Relations DE your core responsibility is to play a key role in acquiring and developing the best German audiobooks for our customers. One of the key deliverables expected from you is to gain valuable insights from your publishing partners, it is critical to understand that you will own and be responsible for supporting the DE Content Team, we trust you to fully understand and acknowledge the uniqueness of both the dimension of responsibility and opportunity associated with your role and mission.
As a Working Student - Publisher Relations DE, you will...
- Perform content research online and offline
- Assist the Content Acquisition and Production teams, in Germany, with general administrative tasks
- Own email correspondence and initial onboarding with smaller and new publishing partners
- Coordinate the contract signing process with authors/publishing houses via DocuSign
- Support the Content Team in creating presentations of upcoming releases, focusing on Key Performance Indicators
- Assist the publishing relations team in the selection of titles for potential production
- Coordinate deliverables and updates with cross-functional teams: Production, Catalog Operations, etc.
- Provide valuable insights about the acquired content in order to support the marketing teams' projects and campaigns

Basic Qualifications
- You’re a full time student, enrolled in either your first state-accredited (staatlich anerkannt) Bachelor or Master in the Berlin/Brandenburg area, and have at least 1 year of studies left - Expected Graduation after August 2026
- You study media/communications studies, linguistic, social sciences, economics, business administration or something along those lines
- You are experienced in working with the main Office software programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- You are fully fluent in English and German, written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications
- You are fluent in a 3rd language
- You are interested in the book and media industry and you are passionate about content (books, audio books, audio dramas, podcasts)
- You can express yourself very well in written; your internal and external communication style is always friendly, reliable and obliging
- You take your tasks seriously, work on them with commitment, independently, conscientiously and show creative thinking
- You are able to focus on tasks with small details. But you are also flexible and stress-resistant for tasks that suddenly become important, while being able to organize yourself independently
- You are a team player and have a hands-on mentality
- You enjoy working in an international environment
