Audible is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management (Product focus) to support our Product Operations function. This will include managing cross-functional planning for major product efforts, maintaining roadmaps, and supporting or leading key launches.

Successful candidates for this position will have strong planning, execution, communication and organizational skills and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority, along with a good understanding of product development, roadmaps, and SaaS.

This person must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, and support multiple, simultaneous product operations initiatives impacting a global organization. This role requires excellent communication and organization skills. Data, writing and report design skills are critical for success.

As a Senior Manager, Program Management, you will..
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives as part of our product planning and operations function.
  • Oversee multiple functional groups, ensuring program goals are reached.
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Create plans for key strategic initiatives and track key metrics to assure they are being accomplished.
  • Identify, analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Define and implement processes to help manage and maintain up-to-date roadmaps, data, OKRs, and metrics.
  • Manage and drive company-wide forums for the Product Organization including roadmap reviews, product demos, and other events.
  • Support business planning and product operations efforts.
  • Lead or support launches of new initiatives, projects, offerings.
  • Draft and support strategic communications, narratives, and presentations for product operations function.
  • Help develop metrics, reports, scorecards, weekly/monthly business reviews.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Math or related fields.
  • 4+ years of experience in a combination of digital media leadership or management consulting, operations, strategy, consulting or an equivalent field. This role requires past experience working directly with senior leaders.
  • Prior hands-on experience in the areas of planning, process, product management, go-to-market program management, and/or strategy execution.


  • Proven ability to plan, execute, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven communication/decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work seamlessly with a variety of personalities and functional disciplines. Ability to build relationships with cross-functional colleagues.
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal); can succinctly and clearly communicate, and are able to produce documents and presentations that are ready for leadership review.
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to rapidly build rapport and trust with across business functions.
  • Understanding of and interest in the digital media content landscape.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $115,600-$160,000 (year); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
