In this contract role, you will work closely with team manager and merchandiser. Main focus of this role is making sure that our day-to-day title promotion tasks are executed in time and with quality in order to drive member engagement. Additionally, you will provide support with the team about the manual work. You will work under the supervision of Customer Experience Manager. This contract role is based in Tokyo.

Key job responsibilities
As the Merchandising Support Contractor you will...
  • Execute the tasks for our day-to-day title promotion work
  • Work closely with in-house designers / creative agency and prepare the marketing assets for title promotion
  • Support Merchandising manager by researching on industrial content promotion trends to come up with the drafting of our new title promotion
  • Create new pages or new placements across our website/app under the direction by Merchandising manager
  • Provide occasional supports in day-to-day work with Customer Experience Team (Localizing copies, CX documentation with screenshots, QA support, etc)


  • Fluency in Japanese (native level) and English (business level), both written and spoken
  • Experience of working for online services/products
  • Experience of using marketing tools (CMS tool, CRM tool, etc)
  • Experience of working with designers for marketing creatives such as banners
  • Experience of handling marketing copies on the surfaces either directly or indirectly


  • Experience of working in content industry
  • Familiarity with subscription business and online products
  • Basic knowledge of webpage production and digital marketing
