ABOUT THIS ROLE
As the Manger, Deal Operations APAC, you'll contribute to the seamless implementation and administration of our content agreements across the Asia-Pacific region with a focus on our Japanese marketplace. In this Keiyaku Shain role, you'll leverage your expertise in IP rights and contract management to support day-to-day operations across our content deal pipeline for the duration of this 18-month assignment. You’ll act as an implementation partner to our Business Affairs, Publishing Partnerships, Legal, Finance, and Catalog Ops Teams, collaborating cross-functionally to execute on new deals and contract changes. Your primary focus will be supporting the day-to-day operations and data integrity of our APAC content deal pipeline to ensure compliance, transparency, and a positive creator experience. You'll maintain data in key systems, onboard content providers, communicate contractual requirements to downstream teams, and work to align operations across APAC marketplaces. Additionally, you'll contribute to cross-functional initiatives pertaining to rights management and leverage data and insights to drive operational efficiency, reduce risk, and identify opportunities. Applying your keen understanding of local business needs and global best practices, you'll continuously work to improve our ways of working with a focus on data accuracy, transparency, and scalability. By sharing insights and best practices with the regional and global teams, you'll help drive continuous improvement locally during your time with Audible.

As the Manager, Deal Operations APAC, you will...
- Support operations, data, and contract management across the full deal lifecycle
- Partner with Audible's Legal, Business Affairs, Publisher Partnerships, Finance, and Catalog Ops Teams to ensure contractual provisions can be implemented effectively
- Onboard new content providers, enter data in content systems, request upfront payments, troubleshoot issues and coordinate next steps downstream
- Drive the validation and upkeep of Audible's contract data; act as a gatekeeper to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Manage contract changes and updates across key systems; perform periodic reviews to ensure changes are implemented consistently and correctly
- Program manage the implementation of high-profile deals and rights related initiatives
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives pertaining to rights management
- Create, review and share reports to improve operations and inform business planning
- Plan and execute data clean-up projects, conduct ad hoc research and respond to inquiries and trouble tickets
- Collaborate to ensure operational readiness for successful launches
- Partner with APAC and global counterparts to align on best practices and drive process improvements

Basic Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Japanese, both written and verbal
- Experience in operations, IP licensing, or a similar role in media and entertainment
- Working knowledge of database concepts, best practices, and SQL
- Functional fluency in Outlook, Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
