ABOUT THE ROLE
Based in Sydney, Audible.com.au is looking for a hands-on innovative, technical and analytical Email Marketing Specialist with an eye for detail. The role will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and engagement for Audible.com.au.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and problem solver, be comfortable with interrogating data and be able to work successful in a fast paced and changing environment.

Key job responsibilities
As a Email Marketing Specialist, you will…
• Manage end-to-end email and push notification campaigns, including planning, coordinating, segmenting, targeting, set-up, QA, testing, reporting and optimisation;
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive email and push marketing test plan, launch tests, analyse and report results and implement successes;
• Deep dive into metrics, develop and maintain campaign reports to understand customer behaviour to inform strategy and execution;
• Ensure appropriate data transfer processes, overlays, data hygiene and opt-out compliance are implemented to improve list quality and increase member engagement / acquisition;
• Validate and test promotions end-to-end to ensure smooth execution;
• Support local business with sophisticated campaign targeting and segmentation
• Work with international teams and champion continuous advancement of our email and push capabilities
• Stay current with email best practices, strategies and AU industry standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge and experience building and managing email marketing campaigns and programs
• Experience with Microsoft SQL, Oracle SQL or a similar database query language.
• Confident with editing HTML and demonstrated ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools rapidly.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant experience in coordinating, targeting, set-up, testing, broadcasting, reporting and optimisation of email and push notification campaigns.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to communicate across business areas
• Excellent analytical skills with a drive for results
• The ability to manage independently with strong organisational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.
