Audible, an Amazon company, is the leading provider of premium digital spoken audio information and entertainment on the internet, offering customers a new way to enhance and enrich their lives every day. Titles downloaded from Audible are compatible with hundreds of mobile devices, including the iPhone and Android smartphones.


Key responsibilities

We are looking for a talented Contracts Manager (8 month contract) to support our Audible India content team as we continue to build out an extensive number of audio titles. The primary responsibilities for this role involve reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements (including nondisclosure agreements, services agreements, marketing contracts and other commercial contracts) as well as review and closure of subcontracts and all downstream agreements and compliance review of content in development and production. Must have excellent communication skills as this position involves direct contact with principal business owners. The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.








Basic Qualifications

· Experience in contracts management, paralegal, procurement, negotiation or other relevant or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department.
· Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Strong analytical and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to handle a fast paced environment
· Team player but natural leader – must be able to run this function independently for the team.
