Audible is looking for a results-oriented Content Discovery Manager - 12 month Contract, responsible for crafting a compelling content discovery experience for customers and increasing user engagement for customers on Audible.


In this role, you will lead planning and execution of content discovery and merchandising with an objective of helping users discover their favorite titles with ease. You will work across internal teams including Marketing, Content and Creative to determine and operationalize the best ways to surface content to customers. This position is open through a contract role for 12 months and will report to the Customer Lifecyle and Revenue Program Lead for

The ideal candidate for this role is inputs-focused, able to combine creativity, has digital skills and analytical acumen. You must be able to work at a strategic level (using consumer insights to generate bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at a tactical level (optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic data and solving problems). High judgement, ability to influence, analytical skills and exceptional communication are essential to succeed in this role. You have a solid knowledge of digital tools used for merchandising content over app/web and are open to learning new ones required.

Key job responsibilities
As the Content Discovery Manager - 12 month contract, you will...
  • Own content merchandizing planning and implementation over Audible app/website for Audible trialists, members and Free-tier users
  • Single-threaded owner for creating the content calendar for owned channels - curation, prioritization and promotion of new releases and editorial content
  • Monitor key performance indicators of customers’ interaction with content and use insights to optimize merchandising plans
  • Assist with development of digital campaigns and promotions to drive customer engagement with Audible content, including editorial campaigns, discount sales and engagement promotions
  • Incorporate global learnings after testing efficacy for marketplace and design new experiments to optimize customer experience and boost customer engagement and listening
  • Ensure design and copy consistency basis Audible guidelines across all owned touchpoints with the objective of maintaining a fresh and relevant content experience for customers
  • Share learnings with internal stakeholders to aid acquisition of relevant content from publishers, creators and partners
  • Report on performance of key metrics and collaborate to provide inputs for business reviews, planning cycles and other meetings


  • Experience in e-commerce, digital content or online marketing
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in customer segmentation
  • HTML skills and a general understanding of online content development
  • Experience with web/mobile analytics tools i.e., Site Catalyst, Google Analytics


  • Previous experience in onsite content publishing and management
  • Passion for books, audiobooks, podcasts and digital entertainment
