Audible is looking for a results-oriented Associate Director, Amazon Marketing to own customer acquisition and growth for the Audible India (Audible.IN) service via Amazon IN Website, Devices, and Affiliate channels. The position will be responsible for developing the acquisition strategy for new and lapsed customers along with the set up and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives to support the strategy. In addition to planning and executing traffic driving initiatives, this role will also recommend and optimize the customer experience to maximize conversion across different touch points. This role involves partnering with local and global internal stakeholder teams to build strong partnerships, share best practices and seek opportunities for increasing Audible’s visibility and drive growth via both product and marketing initiatives.

As an Associate Director, Amazon Marketing, you will…
  • Develop strategy for acquiring Audible listeners via Amazon IN Website, Devices and Affiliate networks.
  • Partner with Amazon affiliates team to build and execute strategy to expand and grow Audible IN’s affiliate network.
  • Own relationship with Amazon and Audible stakeholders to identify and test opportunities to increase Audible’s visibility across different Amazon touch points.
  • Be the lead point of contact between local and global Amazon and Audible teams to own planning and execution of Audible deals and events.
  • Own set-up and execution of campaigns to drive traffic via sub-channels including Emails, Push notifications, Site placements, etc.
  • Plan and conduct experiments to optimize customer journeys and improve conversion across Amazon IN touch points.
  • Build and execute strategy to re-acquire lapsed customers via Amazon and Audible touchpoints.
  • Own both short-term and long-term forecasting and reporting needs for the channel. Monitor marketing metrics, goals, and KPI’s to measure and track business results.
  • Work with local and global product team to shape product features and own roll-out product features across Amazon channels.


  • Relevant work experience in online and/or B2B marketing, preferably in India.
  • Experience in identifying customer insights, developing strategic input briefs, and working with campaign, creative, and media partners.
  • Experience in writing data driven narratives with ability to influence others.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience.


  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills – ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and convert them into actionable insights for driving business growth.
  • Strong technical competency and ability to learn new systems and work with technology teams.
  • Experience in working with IN audience and marketplace.
  • Self-starter and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to focus on big ideas that drive significant change but enjoys diving deep into the details.
  • Strong track record of delivering large, cross-functional projects with ability to consistently manage deadlines and priorities across multiple projects simultaneously.
