ABOUT THIS ROLE
As part of the Global Expansion team, you will help bring Audible to new audiences across the globe. The Global Expansion team currently supports marketplaces in Germany, UK, France, Spain, Italy, India, Australia, Japan, and Canada, and leads the charge as Audible moves to new countries and new business models in 2022.

This role will be temporarily remote until our return to office date, at which time we will use our Hub+Home model. Our Hub+Home hybrid model provides flexibility to do our best work in the way that works best - maximizing the benefits of both work from hub and home. We promote flexibility in how we work, when we work, and from where we work. We also offer the opportunity to work fully remote for up to four weeks per year from anywhere within your assigned hub country. As a UX Designer, you will...
· Participate as a member of a UX project team; collaborating with UX peers and cross-functional teammates from product, insights & analytics, engineering, customer service, marketing, and QA.
· Work iteratively to design, refine, and validate solutions. Using your design skills, you create wireframes, storyboards, walkthroughs and prototypes that communicate your design ideas.
· Graciously provide and incorporate meaningful feedback to improve you and the team’s design solutions and perspectives.
· Partner with User Research to ensure that your design concepts meet our customer's expectations and will deliver the desired results.
· Produce documentation to ensure your designs are well understood by stakeholders and detailed enough for efficient development. You ensure that you have accounted for variations across a wide variety of devices and platforms, handled errors conditions and edge cases, and defined usable, elegant micro-interactions.
· Deliver designs that promote our service-wide User Experience Strategy, and utilize our UX Design System, driving coherence and continuity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of experience as a user experience designer, product designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
· A track record of designing and delivering digital products; illustrated with a portfolio.
· Experience with several design approaches, methods, and tools that you can use to plan and estimate your project work.
· Experience using a variety of design tools to craft an effective approach, estimate, and plan in response to design requests.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven ability to take defined customer and business goals and translate them into effective design solutions.
· Able to clearly articulate the basis of design decisions to teammates and respond effectively to feedback.
· Degree or formal training in design, HCI, or an equivalent.
· Experience with international markets.
· Fluent in multiple languages.
