ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Growth to define and build key experiences that will help us bring Audible’s unique value prop and experience to new customers. As part of the Growth and Conversion Product team you will elevate the core product experience for Audible’s customers, leading to deep engagement and long term retention of our passionate listeners. From the moment a customer lands on Audible to the moment they sign up – our goal is to create a seamless and delightful experience.

The Senior Product Manager, Growth will focus relentlessly on customer needs, working with user experience designers to craft product features that will surprise and delight our customers. They will be responsible for representing the voice of the customer as you work with design, engineering, marketing and analytics leaders to set strategy and define the product experience.

As a Senior Product Manager, Growth you will...
  • Define and execute the product roadmap with clearly articulated and well measured goals
  • Identify and execute on projects that will elevate the usability and seamlessness of Audible’s acquisition and member conversion flows, with an ownership mindset from ideation through launch
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, fellow product managers, marketing and insights teams to drive outcomes
  • Define, execute, evaluate and launch experiments (A/B tests) to maximize customer and business value, using best-practices, statistical rigor and high judgment
  • Proactively accelerate, unblock, de-risk and help optimize the work of the delivery teams working on your in-flight features
  • Partner with UX and UX Research to define good outcomes for qualitative testing, ensuring we are building the right experience for a diverse set of customers
  • Plan and prioritize the backlog for development teams to ensure maximum value in deliverables

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer product management, with 1+ year in complex organizations
  • Experience in data driven hypothesis testing and experimentation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant experience in a consumer-facing acquisition, authentication or conversion related product management role
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
  • Strong communication skills - Can provide information to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike and guide them to confidently informed decisions
  • Ability to think creatively, execute on a roadmap, build consensus and momentum
  • Data-driven: Define metrics for success and failure; ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to back up assumptions and make decisions
  • Ability to recognize the benefits and limitations of the technical design of a feature, and engage with engineering to make informed trade-off decisions
  • Team player: Strong, demonstrated ability to rally and bring varying functional teams together
  • Experience working with design teams to build seamless experiences for customer facing products/features
