The Product Management org at Audible leads key strategic projects and experiences that will elevate the core experience for Audible customers leading to deep engagement and long term retention of our passionate listeners. These experiences will connect the entire customer’s journey across our website, apps and device experiences.

We focus relentlessly on customer needs, working with user experience designers to craft product features that will surprise and delight our customers. We build and ship new features for iOS, and Android apps. We provide enough clarity in the product definition that our software engineers can build the product/features and our marketers can determine the product positioning.

We are the leaders on the ultimate vision and strategy of your product area. You will be responsible for the customer voice as you work with data, design, technical, and business leaders to set strategy and define the product.

The successful candidate will be a detail oriented, ambitious self-starter with excellent communication skills. You’re a natural collaborator equally comfortable talking tech with developers, user experience with designers, and strategy with executive leadership. You will focus relentlessly on customer needs, working with user experience designers to craft product features that will surprise and delight our customers. You will build and ship new features for iOS, and Android apps specifically focused on the customer relationship with Audible, including in-app purchase and subscription elements, and capabilities related to purchasing through apps-based payment systems.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will…
  • Work with leadership to establish a vision, articulate strategies, and drive a roadmap for Audible’s core experiences.
  • Ensure business and technical stakeholder needs are aligned by driving mindful discussions that lead to crisp decisions.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to gather requirements, articulate new product experiences, and gain alignment from key stakeholders.
  • Proactively, anticipate, identify, and resolve challenges that may impair the organization’s ability to meet its strategic, financial, and technical goals.
  • Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility, ensuring your roadmap stays aligned with organization objectives.
  • Simultaneously partner with multiple teams across the organization and collaborate to achieve business results.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, evaluate tradeoffs decisions and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with technical and non-technical employees.
  • Define metrics for success and failure and have the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to back up assumptions and drive decisions.


  • 5+ years’ experience in product management, Comprehensive understanding of iOS and Android mobile apps market landscape, capabilities, guidelines, and practices.
  • Experience with A/B testing.
  • BA/BS.


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Appreciation and acceptance for all cultures, backgrounds, and diverse points of view.
  • MBA.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders within and outside your team.
  • Data-informed: You are adept at interpreting data, extracting its narratives and unlocking its insights.
  • Your intuition and subject matter expertise allow you to quickly spot bad data before it does harm.
