Audible’s Creator Marketing team seeks an experienced leader to support audio creators of all types by reimagining, building, and scaling programs that speak the language of the creative class. In this new role, you will manage our growing creator roster across Audible and ACX (Audiobook Creator Exchange) by demonstrating the holistic value of Audible. Part marketer, part creative, and part relationship builder, you will educate creators on Audible’s core values, benefits, and brand. You will be able to strategize, execute, and activate marketing tactics to engage both current and prospective audiences. This role will also be the face of Audible within the community, offering continued support to creators throughout their entire journey with Audible and encouraging adoption of Audible’s services. Compelling communication and creativity are paramount; Audible’s creators are storytellers, and this role should feel comfortable and natural in working with some of the most creative minds in literature and entertainment. A successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to ensure high-impact and positive return. This role will oversee a team of four, but will also be required to work cross-functionally with many Audible teams.

As a Senior Director, Creator Marketing, you will...
· Lead the vision, development, and execution of marketing campaigns, programs, and tentpole moments that drive measurable results and serve the creator community.
· Identify out-of-the-box methods and partnerships that can garner exposure for Audible’s creators and for their content.
· Lead analysis and reporting of marketing initiatives to determine most efficient awareness and conversion drivers, and optimize across channels.
· Manage creator marketing budget annually.
· Work with cross-functional counterparts across partnerships, communications, product marketing, editorial, and legal to align strategy, programs, messaging, and resources.
· Create and execute a robust milestone award and industry honors program to support creators’ achievements.
· Work with the events team to ensure creators are featured or included at trade, industry, and consumer events with authentic ties to their content and message.
· Create (or support the creation of) educational materials for Audible creators.
· Oversee 4+ team members who are focused on implementing the vision for ACX and Audible creators at large.
· Serve as a key decision maker for escalations from various parts of the business.


· 10+ years of experience in entertainment with a focus on creator marketing or artist relations.
· 5+ years leading a team.
· Experience developing positioning and key messages to support defined goals, including marketing materials such as decks, one pagers, and case studies.
· Background in communicating complex information as simple, compelling stories.


· Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
· Experience working with or in support of diverse communities.
· High attention to detail and proven ability to manage projects and competing priorities.
· Ability to create new procedures and workflow and justify why they should be created.
· Team player with the ability to work effectively in high-energy, rapidly evolving organization.
· Broad awareness of popular culture across media types.
· Strong acumen with Microsoft office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and fluency using business data to make critical business decisions and recommendations.
· A positive attitude and a sense of humor.
