This role requires superior research, writing and proofreading skills, as well as journalistic chops to identify key facts, metrics, statistics and trends that support effective narrative documents, presentations and speeches. Passion and enthusiasm for Audible’s disruptive, high-energy technology-driven organization, its innovative audio content, and its commitment to the communities in which it operates are valued. The successful candidate has a passion for powerful storytelling and is able to draw upon research skills and editorial judgment to best enhance the CEO’s presentations and projects. S/he will complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, be comfortable with ambiguity and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround. The ideal candidate is able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships across the organization. As this position, reporting to a communications manager, is in the office of the CEO, a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is critical.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Research skills: ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and summarize key findings concisely
· Strong attention to detail and willingness to get into the weeds of a topic
· Highly organized and able to complete tasks with little guidance, particularly on a tight deadline
· Ability to achieve highest degree of accuracy with quick turnaround and juggle many projects
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high journalistic standards and top-notch proofreading skills with excellent command of English
· Interest in immersing oneself in Audible’s commitment to urban revitalization and its disruptive, technology-driven culture
· Capacity to work across teams at the highest levels of the organization
· Ability to think creatively and connect the dots across strategy
· Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint ability
· Bias for action: willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and get work done, even when it’s outside the scope of the job
