ABOUT YOU
Audible is seeking a highly talented MicroStrategy Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. The professional in this role will be responsible for the design and development of Enterprise BI solutions that comprise our global data ecosystem. You will collaborate with Global Analytics business stakeholders to strategize, design, and implement extendable BI solutions which optimize ease of use and user adoption while providing actionable insights.

As a Microstrategy BI Developer, you will...
  • Analyze business requirements, propose, design and implement solutions using Microstrategy best practices to meet operational requirements including scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, and manageability. Ensure that solutions are designed for optimal access (global) and to deliver relevant content.
  • Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses.
  • Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know when, how and which to use and which not to use.
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis; data integrity, test design, analysis, validation and documentation.
  • Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience with MicroStrategy BI tools as a Developer/Architect in a large environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in math, finance, engineering, statistics, or related discipline.
  • Capable of capturing and modeling complex business cases in terms of tables and relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with credibility at all levels of the organization and a team player outlook with the ability to work well with peers.
  • Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively develop and communicate clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses.
  • Be self-driven with demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize workload and roadmaps.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge and direct experience using business intelligence reporting tools. (OBIEE, Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SSAS Cubes, etc.).
  • Data warehouse designing techniques like Star Schema/Snowflake. Strong SQL skills. Data Integration/ETL experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of scripting for automation (e.g. Python).
  • Experience in partnering with business owners to understand requirements and develop supporting analysis to solve business problems.
  • Experience with machine learning, data mining and statistical techniques to create new, scalable solutions for business problems.
