The Audible Marketing Operations team is looking for a sharp, enthusiastic, creative, and detail-oriented marketing professional to help meet our business objectives and create innovative customer experiences. Responsibilities include building and maintaining email templates, campaign execution across multiple channels and touchpoints, and creating and testing promotional offers. The Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations - Production will take the lead on US Outbound Marketing Campaigns and provide International support as needed. This is a critical role supporting multi-million-dollar acquisition, partnership, research, product and member engagement initiatives and ensuring streamlined and flawless planning and execution. Expertise in top tier Campaign Management tools and Email Service Providers is essential. Candidates should be email deliverability and marketing automation experts with extensive experience with HTML coding and dynamic content. The right candidate will be a quick study and demonstrate a knack for getting things done in close collaboration with technical, creative, and business teams in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Own and manage the planning and production of outbound marketing campaigns for Audible across email, push, and emerging communications platforms
· Coordinate with several internal teams including acquisition, research, merchandising, Audible Escape, Audible for Business, and Audible Latino to consult, build, and refine their outbound marketing tactics
· Develop and build sophisticated customer segments for outbound campaigns, optimizing for KPIs
· Create automated marketing campaigns and migrate current manual campaigns to increase efficiency on Amazon and Audible’s proprietary systems
· Lead QA and proofing for all outbound marketing campaigns including email, push, and automated journeys
· Serve as a subject matter expert on email and push best practices and CAN-SPAM to internal clients including acquisition, research, and strategic partnerships
· Integrate personalization into our outbound marketing campaigns through data providers and flexible templates

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree
· Minimum of 7 years’ experience in digital marketing with a focus on email and push channels
· Must have hands-on production experience with building and testing emails and push notifications
· Excellent understanding of CAN-SPAM
· Advanced HTML skills, specifically for email design
· Experience with working with campaign management tools such as Adobe, Salesforce, Unica, Marketo, Exact Target, Braze, etc.
· Experience working with dynamic content services like Movable Ink
· Strong organizational and communication skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to speak both marketing and tech languages
· Basic SQL knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

· Retail, ecommerce, or member engagement experience
