We are looking for a results-oriented, entrepreneurial Product Marketer to help deliver innovative experiences and compelling offerings for Audible’s customers. You will have the opportunity to help shape the future of Audible’s consumer subscription products by translating audience needs into strategies that inform content, tech, and marketing investment. You will closely track evolving market and competitive trends to inform go-to-market strategy and tactics. Your work will contribute directly to growth of Audible’s audience and offerings and you will help drive decision-making on the business strategy and roadmap.

  • You’re a seasoned, entrepreneurial Product Marketing leader who has developed and grown large, successful consumer products or services.
  • You’re comfortable diving deeply into large-scale consumer data, have a passion for results, and a commitment to action-oriented analysis.
  • You have a relentless focus on the customer and a deep understanding of how customer needs map to actionable product decisions.
  • You’re an exceptional verbal and written communicator with a knack for making complex topics simple and evangelizing and inspiring people at all levels of the organization based on a shared vision.

As a Director, Product Marketing, you will...
  • Define customer needs and segmentation for Audible’s consumer businesses, deeply understanding and championing those needs throughout the organization.
  • Drive our position in an increasingly exciting market by creating clear value propositions and messaging.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy and oversee implementation for product and feature launches.
  • Continuously improve the value of membership by partnering with Product to create new core features, benefits, and CX enhancements that will delight and engage current and future customers.
  • Drive business case development, bringing together customer insights, research, financial data and analytics to develop a perspective on revenue and profitability potential for new to market initiatives.
  • Communicate business plans and strategy to senior leadership.
  • Partner with Marketing, Content, and Communication teams to guide cohesive go-to-market execution across all outbound and inbound marketing channels.
  • Partner with Finance, Analytics, and Data Science to define and measure success.


  • 6+ years of work experience as a Product Marketer in consumer technology.
  • Experience leading Product Marketing for consumer-facing products that touch millions of users.
  • Bachelor's degree.


  • The ability to guide teams through complex launches, while driving clarity and focus.
  • Proven experience in an entrepreneurial or high-growth, technology-driven businesses.
  • Experience with a consumer subscription business.
  • Passion for creative and/or media businesses.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills; the ability to manage with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders, including leadership at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively in high-energy, rapidly evolving organization.
