Audible is looking for a proven connector and creative developer of content with specific expertise the music space to support the Executive Creative Producer. The Creative Development and Partnerships Manager will have a deep understanding of the process of creative development for original, narrative content, as well as robust connectivity the ecosystem of creators working in music-focused content. The ideal candidate will be well connected with a strong network of music artists, industry stakeholders, creative storytellers and producers to coalesce top tier creative teams for the execution of best-in-category creative audio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Build creative partnerships in the music industry from both traditional and non-traditional sources.
· Partner with the Executive Producer in identifying new creative and business opportunities.
· Work with Business Affairs team to negotiate and secure creative deals.
· Support the development implementation of a creative development pipeline for the ongoing management of a large number of creative projects in development.
· Liaise directly with talent, labels, and third-party partner producers to support Creative Producer in establishing project specific artistic visions, and build best-in-class creative teams aligned to execute those goals.
· Act as singular creative lead on assigned projects.
· Work in lockstep with Executive Producer and Production Supervisor to establish a critical path from concept ideation through distribution of content.
· Ideate and source creative prospects through engagement with a robust personal network of music industry stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

· Minimum 7 years’ experience in the music/music-content space.
· A positive and enthusiastic attitude with high emotional intelligence
· Expertise in verbal and written communication -- ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas in a simple manner across different levels of an organization
· Ability to lead and work within cross functional teams under aggressive deadlines
