The Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX) Creator Relationships Manager will work to enhance the global presence of ACX, our creator marketplace that connects rightsholders with performers and producers to create their audiobooks. The ACX Creator Relations Team works with internal stakeholders as well as “indie” creators – primarily authors and publishers – to understand their goals and advocate for their needs.

You are a fast learner who will master the intricacies of ACX’s operations while simultaneously serving as a business partner to members of the creative community. You have experience working with Creators, and have a solid understanding of their needs. You thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic and not afraid to take risks.

As an ACX Relationships Manager, you will…
  • Grow the global ACX community in numbers, education, and awareness through your relationships with Creators.
  • Manage proactive and reactive communications with top ACX creators and document key interactions in a CRM.
  • Understand top ACX Creators’ content pipeline to inform ACX content promotion across Audible surfaces, as well as content acquisition from new and existing partners.
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing, Operations, Customer Care, Risk Management, and other internal Audible teams and content programs to ensure success of ACX participants.
  • Act as a trusted voice of the Creator in all internal discussions pertaining to Audible’s service.
  • Analyze and leverage data to drive and inform partnership decisions, working in collaboration with partner teams to uncover and understand the metrics that justify associated work.
  • Help guide the iterative improvement of internal processes, systems, and practices that support ACX content partnerships and the business as a whole.


  • 3+ years experience in program or project management
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • 3+ years of experience in working with creators, publishers or literary agencies, preferably within audio, television, film, music or other comparable area.
  • Strong acumen with Microsoft office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and fluency using business data to make critical business decisions and recommendations.


  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work effectively in high-energy, rapidly evolving organization.
  • Broad awareness of popular culture across media types.
  • Knowledge of best practices within the domains of customer success, community management, business development, partner relations and CRM management.
  • Experience working within a community of independent creators, such as a self-publishing platform.
  • A positive attitude and a sense of humor.
