As the Country Manager, Mexico, you will…
- Architect the marketplace strategy to deliver financial, audience, brand, content and other KPIs as defined.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to develop and inform how Audible’s marketing, content and product are localized, programmed and merchandised to serve customers in the Mexico marketplace.
- Champion the needs of the Mexico marketplace customers within Audible.
- Serve as marketplace spokesperson representing Audible externally in media/PR opportunities.
- Have deep subject matter knowledge about marketplace-specific public policies, legal and tax considerations, industry dynamics, image competitors, etc.
- Lead a select, dedicated team while leading through influence in a matrixed organization.
- Collaborate with Amazon leaders in the region across Retail, Entertainment and digital businesses; secure local promotions and surface presence.

Mexico City, DIF, MEX

Basic Qualifications

- Professional Degree (Bachelor’s degree)
- 12+ years in senior leadership roles, with a proven track record of building and growing new digital businesses
- Business fluency in written and verbal Spanish and English
- Demonstrable background/experience operating in the Mexican cultural and media landscape

Preferred Qualifications

- Advanced Degree (MBA, M.A., M.S., or another post-graduate degree)
- Proven ability to work within cross cultural teams and lead projects and initiatives across a matrix organization
- Strong analytical / decision making and problem-solving skills
- Results oriented with strong bias for action, even in ambiguous situations
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to drive toward consensus
- Comfortable operating across functional lines to identify and execute on new growth opportunities through vendor development, business development, strategic collaborations, and marketing and deliver results
- Strong communication skills
- Experience presenting to executive leaders and a variety of internal and external audiences
- Experience in entertainment, publishing, media, subscription services desired
