Job summary
Good storytelling starts with great listening. At Audible, that means each role and every project has our audience in mind. Because the same people who design, develop, and deploy our products also happen to use them. To us, that speaks volumes.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to work within Audible's, London based, Program Management team who can support the team’s efforts to deliver product and feature enhancements across various surfaces including Audible’s presence on Amazon, Kindle, desktop and mobile devices. This is a cross-functional role which includes interfacing with marketing, technical and content teams requiring a strong ability to communicate effectively. Our goal is to deliver world-class content, commerce, and consumption experiences anywhere, anytime and on any device to unleash the power of the spoken word. This is a contract role (12 months), reporting into the Director, Program Management.

ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for that right combination of digital media sensibility and e-commerce smarts with a flair for bringing people together, someone who can both sweat the details and tie them back to the big picture. You should be equally comfortable talking tech with developers, user experience with designers, copy and positioning with product marketers and numbers with acquisition marketing. You have a combination of in-the-weeds project management and soft skills, relationship building, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience working in digital media or consumer technology. You thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic and collaborative. Taking inspiration from both your own experience in similar roles, as well as learning from Audible Program Managers, you will raise the bar when it comes to delivering projects that ensure a best in class customer experience. You’ll contribute to our team’s broader vision - challenging and extending our thinking to ensure that we’re doing right both by our customers and our business.

As a Project Coordinator, you will...
  • Work with the Program Manager to support all Audible launches, building timelines, tracking progress and ensuring new products and features meet project requirements and business objectives.
  • Execute collaborative test plans with local teams for user acceptance testing of new products and features for Audible websites and apps.
  • Report issues and bugs in a detailed and timely manner, working closely with various international development teams and local stakeholders to ensure swift resolution.
  • Work closely with Audible product marketing, design, finance, program management, business affairs, customer care, legal and global product teams to deliver the best possible customer experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in small project teams and meeting strict project deadlines.
  • Experience of ticketing systems (e.g. Jira or similar).
  • High level experience with MS Office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business or technical discipline (preferred, not required).
  • 2+ years experience in a consumer-facing media or technology business.
  • Experience working in Agile & Scrum preferred.
