JOB SUMMARY

Good storytelling starts with great listening. At Audible, that means each role and every project has our audience in mind. Because the same people who design, develop, and deploy our products also happen to use them. To us, that speaks volumes.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for an enthusiastic Working Student (Werkstudent) – Catalog Operations EU to support us with keeping our catalog metadata clean. In this position, you will be part of the EU Content Operations team and gain valuable insights into content ingestion and catalog management for Audible content on various platforms, including Amazon and iTunes.

You will feel comfortable in this role if you enjoy working with numerous partners in a fast-paced environment, take pride in delivering accurate results, and have a passion for technology and media, specifically spoken word audio.

As a Working Student (Werkstudent) – Catalog Operations EU, you will…
- Product Metadata Indexing and Copyediting: Enter, edit, proofread, and fact-check metadata records in our content management system prior to releasing a product to Audible marketplaces (Audible stores, Amazon, iTunes). Key elements such as a product's company identification, on-sale date, distribution rights, availability, pricing, provider, royalty earner, title, descriptive copy, and taxonomy are top priority areas of review with primary focus on, but not limited to, French, Spanish or Italian-language products.
- Catalog Updates and Issue Management: Perform, process and verify updates. As an energetic and creative troubleshooter who works with a wide variety of people regarding all issues related to content reported through internal or external sources, ensure that requests are answered appropriately and in due time.
- Manage Product Relationships and Affiliations: Support customer discovery and navigation by creating, verifying and updating product relationships such as Category Assignments, Series Affiliation (e.g. linking works in a trilogy), Title Authority (grouping different versions of works together) or Contributor Authority (bibliography).
