ABOUT THIS ROLE
In this position, you will be part of our ‘Global Research & Consumer Insights’ team and focus on Germany, France, Spain and Italy. You will gain valuable insights into how our members and prospects think about audiobooks, podcasts and Audible and learn about the similarities and differences across our European marketplaces.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The ‘Global Research & Consumer Insights’ team partners with our colleagues in Content and Marketing to help them understand the needs of current and future customers. We’re a small, but growing team with currently three colleagues in Berlin, two in London, and many more in the US. Our remit is global and the work we do always sparks interest across the business. We are passionate about guiding the business with our robust approaches to understanding the consumer and providing guardrails to develop the best content and marketing materials.

ABOUT YOU
You’re a student, enrolled in either your first Bachelor or Master in the Berlin/Brandenburg area in fields such as Business Psychology, Business Studies, Media Management, Sociology, Communication & Media Research or Communication in Social and Economic Contexts and have at least 1 year of your studies left. You are passionate about entertainment brands and affinity for books, audiobooks and podcasts and interested in Customer Insights, Market Research, and Marketing. You are keen on working with survey-based, quantitative data and interested in working with online survey tools, such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey or similar

As a Working Student – Consumer Insights / Market Research, you will....
- Support standard market and content research surveys from A to Z (e.g. customer satisfaction/NPS surveys, surveys to measure appeal of specific content ideas)
- Amend survey templates and set them up in an online survey tool
- QA of ongoing surveys
- Organize send out and communicate with outbound team via ticketing system
- Clean data and comments and prepare data for analysis
- Run standardized analyses & reporting with the help of the online survey tool and scorecards in Excel
- Compile concise summaries in English
- Update internal Wiki-pages, prepare project summaries & newsletters
- Run ‘desk research’ so we can better understand existing knowledge & research
- Support daily business, e.g. communication with colleagues, scheduling & preparing meetings

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Sound knowledge of Excel
- High attention to detail, good self-organization and ability to work independently
- Fluency in English and native in one of these languages: German, French, Italian or Spanish

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Background in statistics and market and/or media research
