ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for a committed Working Student - Business Affairs to support our Business Affairs team with special focus on all our licensing and rights activities as well as all finance-related and administrative tasks. You will support us in our relationship with external stakeholders like publishers, authors, editors, dramaturgs, translators and agencies. The Business Affairs EU team is responsible for acquiring and steering content for Audible EU and you will be part of it. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating team meetings and small events as well as supporting the team with administrative tasks.

You have an interest in media and entertainment products and/ or licensing and rights management, process management and be able to work in a reliable and structured way.

As a Business Affairs EU Working Student, you will...
  • Process contracts
  • Handle contract administration and monitoring, e.g. sending and filing contracts, documentation in internal database tools, processing, ensure that deadlines are being kept
  • Keep our database and other tools updated
  • License management
  • Interface to the finance department, coordinate workflow and communication internally
  • Coordinate team meetings and manage general administrative tasks

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • You study law, media/communications studies, economics, business administration or something along those lines
  • You are experienced in working with the main Office software programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • You should be fluent in English, German and/or another language would be a plus
  • You are a full-time student, enrolled in either your first state-accredited (staatlich anerkannt) Bachelor or Master in the Berlin/Brandenburg area and have at least 1 year of studies left

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • You enjoy understanding complex processes and you like to explain such processes to others
  • You approach your tasks with confidence and diligence, and you display creative thinking and attention to detail
  • You are interested in books/audio books/ audio dramas / podcasts
  • You are dedicated and capable to work reliably and independently
  • You are a team player and have strong communication skills

OUR OFFER
  • Student position for 20h per week
  • Compensated with €14 per hour
  • Contribution on the long-run (ideally 1 to 2 years) as a fully-fledged team member
