ABOUT THIS ROLE

Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for an Outbound Manager, Marketing Operations EU. You will be a key part of a team which helps fulfil marketing projects across Audible EU. This means individually delivering marketing campaigns across a wide variety of customer segments, as well as driving continuously better processes within the team and developing the discussion on what our best approach to marketing projects looks like. Your success will be judged by your contributions to revenue growth, the team’s combined improvements in project delivery, as well as your efforts to improve the customer experience.

This position is initially open through a 24- months contract.

As an Outbound Manager, Marketing Operations EU, you will...
  • Work with marketing stakeholders who will be briefing projects into the MOPS team. The Outbound Manager will manage this workflow for the team as well as their own workload.
  • Manage end-to-end email & push campaigns, including stakeholder collaboration, segmentation, content set-up, QA and reporting. Developing reporting framework.
  • Become a Quality Control Champion – improve QA processes and provide support to team. Ensure all outbound comms are to a high standard and are aligned with brand guidelines in terms of both creative and tone of voice.
  • Support Outbound Coordinators in their development and workloads.
  • Stay current with email best practices & work with stakeholders to advise on test strategy.
  • Collaborate with MOPS Director to improve team processes & JIRA optimisation.
  • Utilise role to drive revenue activities across EU4 customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Degree (Bachelors’ degree, MBA, M.A., M.S., or another post-graduate degree).
  • 5+ years’ experience of working within a CRM function and documented experience in building consumer facing email campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools rapidly, particularly email software. Familiarity with HTML is a plus.
  • Business fluency in written and verbal English, additional European languages are a plus.
  • Experience of working with project management software on fast-moving projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL, Oracle SQL or a similar database query language.
  • Relevant experience in coordinating, targeting, set-up, testing, broadcasting, reporting and optimization of push notification campaigns.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical capability.
  • Previous experience of mentoring or developing team member performance.
  • You work hands on and you have a can-do attitude.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the book market and entertainment industry.
