The Audible Content organization seeks you, as a Localization Operations Specialist, to join our Planning and Operations group (CP&O). The CP&O team drives department growth through defining, implementing and improving business practices and standards that enable and support all Content functions globally, spanning across Content-Acquisition, -Development, -Production, -Programming and -Marketing. You, as the Localization Operations Specialist will help update and maintain various schedules, keep internal stakeholders up-to-date as content is finalized, help track overall localization progress, flag outstanding materials or potential delays, collate rights and production information for avails/metadata, and amass assets for final delivery. You are a logical thinker that translates operations and business needs into a leading-edge, customer-focused solutions. You should be comfortable creating solutions for ambitious ideas in ambiguous environments.

This position is initially open through a contract role lasting 12 months.

As a Localization Operations Specialist (m/f/d), you will...
· Manage projects from project kick-off to release in multiple languages, coordinating project milestones and disseminating project information with global project stakeholders.
· Identify and manage project risk through prioritization, bug management, and any other means necessary.
· Onboard, select and monitor localization vendors (agencies and freelancers).
· Drive high quality output from localization vendors & freelancers.
· Coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams such as Content, Marketing, and Legal to sync development efforts and localization schedules.
· Work in strong collaboration with content, production, programing and marketing stakeholders.
· Serve as an in-house product expert for localization launches, ensuring standardized processes across regional Production and Marketing teams, in close collaboration with Production Operations.


· 3+ years experience in Media Entertainment and/or localization program management working on multi-language launches, creative content and/or subtitle localization.
· Experience in operations.
· Experience with localization processes and tools.
· Fluent in English, both written and spoken.


· Strong project management skills.
· Fluency in a non-English language.
· Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
· Ability to learn new/proprietary systems and technologies.
· Passion for building a global content offering.
· Expertise in data mining, data management, reporting.
· Flexible, collaborative, self-directed, and accustomed to grace under pressure in lean environments.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate complex technical issues in a simple, non-technical manner to relevant stakeholders.
