ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible GmbH is looking for you, as an enthusiastic part-time Audio Operations Coordinator (m/f/x) to join our Content Operations team for the EU region. In this role, you will work as part of a team that accurately creates, enters, edits, and maintains metadata, audio assets, cover art and other assets (PDF, ToC – table of content) for all Audible products. You focus on the processes needed to capture, ingest and publish audio and image assets, which includes utilizing a variety of tools to quickly and efficiently process these assets. Your primary task will be to support clients within the company by monitoring and developing operational workflows and to provide digital audio capturing, editing, processing, process improvement, and encoding services.

This is a part-time time role working 20 hours per week.


As a Audio Operations Coordinator (m/f/d), you will...

· Capture, edit, check and publish audio data and image art from various sources, including our Audible Studios and Original Podcast departments.
· Manage, own and develop processes for asset-related issue tracking and resolution. This includes issues and bugs reported through our internal issue tracking systems as well as issues that surface during daily title production or current projects. Identify quality improvement opportunities and root causes for quality issues, and take appropriate actions to implement and resolve. Follow up upon and drive to resolution various forms of asset-related issues.
· Monitor daily standard audio and image production workflows and SOP’s, ensure alignment of processes and operational effectiveness.
· Manage content deliveries to third party content partners.
· Update audio and image assets, troubleshoot and resolve audio or image issues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous professional experience in audio engineering, image editing and digital content management
· In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to audio signal processing, digital audio format conversion and image editing
· Fluency in German and upper-intermediate level of English language
· Technical fluency in Windows operating system, Office Suite and standard audio/image editing tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· A sharp focus on efficient and timely communication and meticulous attention to detail
· Passionate, structured and reliable self-starter who is able to take over ownership as well as work within a team and is comfortable with a fast pace and constant change
· Experience with podcast publishing and RSS standard
· Additional language skills in French, Italian or Spanish are a plus
· Previous experience with Audible or Amazon
