ABOUT THIS ROLE
Based in Berlin, Audible is looking for an Audio Operations Coordinator (m/f/x) to join our Content Lifecycle team for the EU region. In this role, you will work as part of a team that accurately validates, edits, processes and maintains audio assets, cover art and table of contents data for all Audible products. The Audio Operations Coordinator focuses on the complete and accurate capturing, ingestion and publishing of audio and image assets, which includes utilizing a variety of tools to quickly and efficiently process these assets. Your primary task will be to support clients within the company and to provide digital audio editing, process improvement, and encoding services.

You are an energetic and creative troubleshooter who works with a wide variety of people regarding all issues related to content which includes utilizing a variety of tools to quickly and thoroughly research various ad-hoc requests. The ideal candidate has audio engineering experience, is avidly consuming media, is highly organized and detail oriented, and is able to thrive in a high-energy entrepreneurial environment.

As an Audio Operations Coordinator, you will...
- Audio, Image and Table of Contents (ToC) shOperations: Capture, process, validate and publish audio files, cover art and ToC data from various sources, including Audible Studios and Original Podcast partners
- Catalog Maintenance: Bei part of catalogue update, backfill and bar raising projects ensuring the best possible asset-related user experience
- Issue and Quality Management: Function as an energetic and creative trou-bleshooter who works with a wide variety of people regarding all issues related to product assets reported through internal or external sources, making sure that requests are processed appropriately and in due time
- Business Development Projects: Asset assembly and delivery to external partner companies showcasing Audible content

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous professional experience in audio engineering, digital content management, image editing, or related area
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to audio signal processing and digital audio format conversion
- Fluency in English
- Technical fluency in Microsoft Office software palette, e.g. MS Excel and MS Word
- Intermediate knowledge in audio editing tools/DAWs, such as Pro Tools, Logic or similar
- Basic knowledge in image editing tools, such as Photoshop, GIMP or similar
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with podcast publishing and RSS standard
- Intermediate level of German, Italian, French or Spanish language
- Diversified language skill set is a plus
- A sharp focus on efficient and timely communication and meticulous attention to detail
- Passionate, structured and reliable self-starter who is able to take over ownership as well as work within a team and is comfortable with a fast pace and constant change
